Starting off with a buzz and excitement unique to such a large-scale PKRA event, day one of trials in Leucate, France, began early, with a morning meeting and a start of 11:30.

There were 54 listed, 16 riders remained.

Luis and Posito pass the qualifications, finishing first, three times on four qualifying heats and therefore falling within the action of the PKRA.
Unfortunately, Nico injured his back and thus does not pass the qualifications for access to the PKRA.
