Proud of sponsoring a PKWT  world Champ in wave riding with jan Marco Riviera , the STARKITES team needed to see  some giant action with its freestyle team .

With the CABARETE  PKRA  event around the corner ( june 15^th) , STARKITES  decided to launch a Pro rider selection day in the most perfect conditions for such event : Kite Beach  , perfect smooth waters ,  20 knots and tons of sun …. a classic in CABARETE .

The idea was  to put in competition  all the incredible local talents with the potential to be Pro in a freestyle event  , and riding exclusively STARKITES ….. a must !!

Selection would be done with 4 judges , 2 competitors on the water  for 10 minute rides , and  the top three winners would win 4 kites and become part  of our Pro riders team .

The word spread like wildfire, and by mid day we had  20 competitors  signed up , all ready to give us an incredible show .

The rest of the day was pure joy and cheering at the magic of so much talents  with double handle passes, mega  kite loops, and old school board offs moves thrown non stop in front of our eyes and  attracting a great audience .

                The happy  enthusiastic  winners were:

1^st: Luis Alberto Cruz

2^nd: Posito Martines

And 3^rd: Joselito De Los Santos

Who will compete at the upcoming Cabarete PKRA event .

                We  congradulate the winners for their strong dedication to Kiteboarding, achieved results and for the potential carrier they have ahead in the sport and of course with their first sponsor STARKITES .

                This  event was such a success that be prepared in July for another one  with amazing  prizes.
