The persistent Dominican; Jan Marcos Riveras, has achieved his goal!!

After a hardcore season on the Kiteboard Pro World Tour 2009, JMR can finally relax and enjoy the glory.

Jan Marcos Riveras started out as just another kitekid roaming around the beaches of Cabarete, Dominican Republic. However his persistency, will power, and positive energy stood out when he won the Master of the ocean in 2007. Soon after, Starkites welcomed him to the team and Jan Marcos grabbed the bull by the horns.

In 2008 Jan Marcos Showed off his potential by finishing the KPWT wave Masters in 2nd place overall.

Just like many other pro kiteboarders, his goal was to be World Champion. Unlike most of them, he actually succeeded.
