Creating and managing his first business at 19 years old and for 8 years, Fred is a genuine self-made man able to turn business opportunities into success.

Also passionate of water sports (surf, windsurf, hobby-cat,), he will migrate to Dominican Republic in 1991 to be on the spot and enjoy as often as possible his passions. Discovering kite as its early beginnings in Dominican Republic, this was for him beginning of new adventures linking his entrepreneur mindset with his water sports passion.

Active in kite industry since 2000, he has been playing a key role. Organizing first kite training program to instructors, he started the first professional kitesurfing school in Cabarete.

In parallel, he co-founded with Eric Beaudonnat IKO to develop kite activity abroad in most of countries in the world. IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization, www.ikointl.com) is now the reference in Kite teaching such as PADI for water diving.

Self-taught man personality mixed with his business management experience is key values that enable Fred to manage Starkites^®. Co-founder of Starkites^® brand with Eric Beaudonnat, Fred is running the business and taking care of international sales.
